Badrinath Dham - Badrinarayan Temple

Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located in Chamoli district. Badrinath is also known as Badrinarayan. This temple is at an altitude of 3,133 meters above sea level. This is one of the Chardham Dhams of India. The doors of the temple remain open for 6 months and remain closed for 6 months during winter. Lakhs of devotees from every corner of India and outside India come to this holy place every year. This is the fourth temple to visit after Yamunotri, Gangotri, and Kedarnath. Devotees visit Shri Badrinath Temple. This spiritual journey of four temples is known as Chhota Char Dham Yatra in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand.

Distance From Haridwar

Haridwar to Badrinath is about 310 km via NH 7 and it takes 10 hour to reach Shri Badrinath temple. There are no direct flight and train reach Badrinath. The nearest Railway Station are Haridwar and Rishikesh & the airport is in Dehradun.
